Conquering the deed of the Nicolaitans: Bible study PART 2

Part 2 of 2

The reaction of God to Balaam's insanity

a. VS. 16. The angel of the Lord stood in the way to smite him but: God allowed the dumb ass to see him.
b. Balaam beat the thing that was attempting to save him....he beat his animal.
c. God allowed an animal to speak to Balaam but he was so enamored with achieving a high position that he literally spoke back to the animal and talked with it.
d. Why are you beating me? What have I ever done to deserve this? Have I not been a faithful mule?
Balaam: Couldn't you pick up on the Lord making and effort to stop you from your insanity?
Balaam couldn't curse them so he bewitched them.
Bewitched: To cause someone to be enchanted, like a spell cast over them
Enchanted: To delight in a thing to a high degree

Ps 106:25-31
25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
28 They joined themselves also unto Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
a. They joined themselves to Baal Peor: and ate the sacrifices of the claiming a walk with God and serving Baal....
b. Provoked God to anger with their inventions...accept the Lord is an invention, believe on the Lord and thou shalt be saved for salvation is an invention, Repent and come forward and you are born again is an invention.
c. God caused a plague to break in upon them: then Phinehas killed Cosbi and the plague was stayed.

(Similar to having the blessing of the Lord while living the lessor law of Moses instead of the law of Christ)

This is how we overcome the spiritual wickedness of the Nicolaitans:
Those wicked me who crept into the church: still embracing the law but claiming the faith of Christ. This is what we wrestle with; the big crowds that enchant and draw men from holiness into illicit living of serving the law and the flesh.
Eph 6:10-19
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

From building seven altars to setting up Baal-Peor

Building seven altars in an attempt to change the mind of God, which could not be done
Murmurers and complainer would not hear the voice of the Lord but turned to Baal-Peor which was set up by Balaam to be a stumbling block.
This is the strategy of this hour: those who have refused the Truth are attempting to get those in truth to commit fornication by taking a "seed" not of God.
The promise of God to those who overcome the spirit of "Balaam" in this hour
Rev 2:14-17
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
a. To conquer the laity: this is what Balaam did, he taught Balak king of Moab to cast a stumbling block before Israel in getting them to come to worship at Baal-Peor.
b. Nicolaitanes: What are they? They are those who are natural brute beasts: who have kept and now has spread the false teaching of the eucharist and the wine for communion. They conquer the laity...the Cozbi’s who are tempted to go away from the truth, the preachers who will not accept the Word of the Apostles and Jesus as the only way into eternal Life.

Greedily after the error of Balaam for reward
The power of the Nicolaitans: to pluck up and uproot those in Christ by enchantment.
There is money involved inthe doctrine of the Nicolaitans; Gold built cathedrals,Gold built city, the wealth of the world. Committing fornication with the Kings of the earth. Sowing their false seed into them, enticing them into their web of false doctrine = the deeds doctrine of the Nicolaitans.
Jude 11-13
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Staying in the Truth

He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
a. An understanding of being witched: lured into not obeying the truth: who had once known it but have chosen the doctrine of the Nicolaitans...they took the stumbling block of the law to disregard the truth.
b. A spell cast on people to entice them to leave apostolic doctrine for the doctrines of the false church.
c. Many are the children of the desolate...the law makes desolate.....
d. Balaam looked to be promoted and made rich by Balak for his services in cursing Israel.
e. There is a people on the face of the earth that are primarily concerned in seeing the truth found in the scriptures, looking for what they mean other than what they imply.
f. All scripture is given for doctrine, reproof and instruction, that the MAN OF GOD can be thoroughly furnished unto every good work.
Gal 3:1-9
3 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

The secret of defeating the Nicolaitans is obtaining faith from the Apostles and Christ. This is where Faith comes from: This is where blessings comes from..This is what God blesses and rewards. The blessings of the Lord maketh rich.

5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Witchcraft is a work of the flesh
Those men who crept in the church embraced Christ: but turned from the required sacrifice of the Apostles for a mixed sacrifice (a piece of bread and a drink of wine for salvation)
Some saw this being done right before their eyes, denying the Lord God a sacrifice of holy living for an inferior sacrifice infused with the law. The law: as long as I do not commit adultery I can embrace it, think on it, be around it. Same thinking as "as long as I do not do what the world does, I can fellowship with it. This is Nicolaitanism!
1 Sam 15:23
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
a. Saul was bewitched by the thought of keeping alive Agag whom God commanded to be destroyed.
b. Saul rebelled against the commandment of God, in keeping Agag and the best sheep alive for sacrifice.
c. His own mind became his idol,

A familiar spirit is communicating with your own spirit. Which is the only spirit familiar to what you want and desire and is used by God to send a delusion.
a. Another method claimed in communicating with GOD
b. All witchcraft is a work of the flesh: flesh invented it...flesh made it up...flesh concocted it.
Deut 18:10-13
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
13 Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

The witch of Endor
1 Sam 28:7-20
7 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and inquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.
8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.
9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?
10 And Saul sware to her by the Lord, saying, As the Lord liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.
11 Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.
12 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul.
13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.
14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.
15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
16 Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the Lord is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?
17 And the Lord hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the Lord hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:
18 Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the Lord, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the Lord done this thing unto thee this day.
19 Moreover the Lord will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the Lord also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.
20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.

To earnestly contend for the Faith! What is the Faith?
1. It is the types and shadows fulfilled in Christ and men being able to see it.
2. The leaven or false doctrine of the Pharisees: the disciples had to understand the word spiritually.
3. Those who do not see the spiritual are only partially in the faith.
4. The favor of God in on the words of the Apostles, which are the fulfillment of the types and shadows.
5. The new birth consists of killing the old man and putting on Christ.

Jude 1-4
1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
a. Men who crept in the church: in contact with God but went to the law and grace mixture.

The promise of the Spirit through faith.
We must obtain the promise of the Holy Ghost in the same manner Abraham received the promise of his son Isaac instead of Ishmael.
Gal 3:10-14
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

A Nicolaitane is:
1. Someone who pushes Ishmael for the promise instead of Isaac.
A. Hagar is representing the type and shadow of the law.
B. Hagar as being the mother instead of Sarah.
C. God rejected Ishmael as the promise and God rejects the law as the promise.

If you remain in the truth you will see. God will open your eyes.
John 3:20-21
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Phinehas lived to see the day his Nicolaitane died.
If we bring the same judgments against those who love Baal-Peor, we will live to see the Nicolaitan spirit die too.
Num 31:1-8
31 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.
3 And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the Lord of Midian.
4 Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.
5 So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
6 And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.
7 And they warred against the Midianites, as the Lord commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.
8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.

Rev 18:1-6
18 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

Called to hear the word of God
Chosen by the Spirit of God to enter into the kingdom of God.
Faithful to remain in the Truth and not leave for a lie.

Rev 17:3-14
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

If we are faithful: I promise you will see the death of the Nicolatanes.
A. Just like Phinehas saw the death of his Nicolaitane Balaam.
B. We will see the death of our Nicolaitanes if we stay in the truth.

We cannot be cursed if we remain in the Truth and love it. Nothing can presuade God to allow the spirit of Satan to overcome us if we are intent on remaining in Apostolic Truth.

Every time Moses went to preform a miracle, the witches of Egypt did the same thing. However their serpent was eaten by Moses rod, this will always be the case. God's rod will always prevail over the witchery of the Nicolaitans.
Do not say witchcraft doesn't exist; because it does. It's God sending a delusion and deception to those who embrace by the flesh, another method of salvation or contacting God.

The "Accept the Lord and your born again" doctrine is witchcraft. It ignores Acts 2:38 and the Apostles doctrine. Acts 2:38 shows it's precept of a type / shadow in the Shunemite woman whom Elijah prayed for a have a child and again raised that child from the dead.
The Apostles doctrine brings life and can also revive a soul from the dead (dead in trespasses and sins).

Demons are working everywhere now. Satan; the Nicolaitans know they have a short time. They know Jesus is coming and they are attempting to "save" and convert as any as they possibly can into their false doctrine.
Matt 24:40-50
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

The Nicolaitans believe that their false doctrine is an accepted doctrine.
A doctrine clearly denied by the Apostles...Clearly made false by the teaching of the Apostles, but perpetrated by false teachers as truth.

Satan is the spirit that is in the Nicolaitans
Rev 12:12-17
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

This is Balaam with the spirit of Satan
The Angel of the Lord was Jesus, Himself identified by His war name. The body of Moses is Israel, the body of Christ is the church today.

The scriptures in Numbers 22 identify the Angel of Lord contending with the Devil, which was Balaam.....But what they know naturally as brute beasts in those things they corrupt themselves.
The spirit Balaam had when he was defying the Spirit of God and His voice; is the same spirit men had against the Apostles when they left the Truth to be promoted by false teachers of law.
Jude 9-10
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
