Joy cometh in the mourning and a friend loveth at all times.

To his companion, whom he had used as his friend
Art thou a subtil man? Do thou entice secretly to serve other gods?
Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did give me bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
I behaved myself as though he had been my friend: Now I bow down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.
Is this thy kindness oh my friend? Why wentest thou not with me?
The Lord hath spoken of thee; Yea, ye overwhelm the fatherless, and ye dig a pit for my children.
Jonadab thou art to blame, yea as others who receive this fairy tale legend.
For surely thou didst flatter with thy lips and sting with thy poison.
Trust ye not in this friend, put ye not confidence in this guide:
Keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
Yea this is affliction, ye poured in pity; but forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.
Wallowing in the mud of thy misery and blinded with lies.
Woe to the serpent; thou must kill the beast, thy lying friend.
A man void of understanding striketh hands, and becometh surety for this, his friend.
Doest thou knowest him, of whom it was told. Adam in nature is a wolf in sheep clothes.
Ye trust more in thine own opinion, thy serpent and pet. Tis softer then the nails which are hard to bare.
Because thou hast not known joy, or else thou wilt not mourn for the old man that perisheth.
Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
Sweet deceptions, pampering to thy flesh are they; yea more tender then true.
Desires of a fool, death in ears and harden in heart. Ravishing in anger to protect thy pet.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?
Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
In this world thou art formed, and to the earth thou wilt return.
If thou hearest not thy King's friend, the world will burn thee in lusts and outer darkness thou wilt dwell.
Wilt thou hear the faithful trumpet bellow of His friend, to make him thine own.
Face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend, the bridegroom sendeth him to thee.
Thou wilt know him of a surety by the letter of love preserved unto this day.
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
In the multitude of counselors there is safety. Prove therefor thy counselors by the order of His word.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; correction is hard and to be taken well. This is love that thou knowest not.
But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful, this thou knowest well and yet how easily forgotten when the belt doth swing.
Just as iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
He shall cry forth, “make thy paths strait; repent for the kingdom of God is nigh thee, yea at hand”.
He will tell thee how to fashion a wedding garment and beckon the bridegroom until He will rise and give him as many things as he needeth.
Thy manners and thy dress he will reprove: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, is he that standeth and heareth him.
Blow thou the trumpet in Zion, harden not thy heart. Command thy flesh to an altar.
Wisdom hath killed her beasts. Humbleth thyself to instruction and knowest thou the joy in this, thy old friend’s death.
Thy ears hath the King’s friend opened to His voice and another thou shalt not hear.
Thy sleep shall be in peace, thy name in the book. Yea thy dress is without spot or blemish. Thou shalt be ready.
The bridegroom knoweth them that sleepeth; that He may awake them out of sleep.
Yea he that heareth the Friend of God; rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
This is my preacher, yea my true friend and lover of my soul; a very precious gift from the Father of light!
