Be Careful What You Long For Because You Sure Will Get It.

“Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.” -Genesis 13:17

In essence God said, Wherever you walk, that will I give you. So, logically Abraham would have walked in the places he desired the Lord to give him. Right?....right.
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” -Galatians 6:7-8

Sowing implies labor and you generally only labor for something you desire. People who want something carnal invest something into carnality and they may reap something carnal. People who want something spiritual sow something into their spirituality that they may reap something spiritual.
We learn then, that whatever a man truly wants (which is made manifest by his works and what he sows) is what he gets.
“I the Lord search the heart, I try the reigns, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” - Jeremiah 17:10

God said, I search the heart…why? To see its true desires...why? So He can give it what it truly wants. Why does He give to every man according to his ways (how he walks/lives) and doings? Because what a man does shows what he truly wants. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Not just with the literal mouth, but more so with actions. Actions speak louder than words. You can make your mouth say anything; your actions are what really speak. How you live and carry yourself speaks more to people than what you say.

“This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” -Galatians 5:16-17

This implies that if you walk in the flesh you shall fulfill the lusts (desires) of the flesh. Why will you fulfill the lusts of the flesh if you walk in the flesh? Because if that is how you are walking (carrying yourself), that reflects what you truly desire and God gives to a man according to the true desires of his heart. This verse also implies that if you walk in the Spirit you will fulfill the lusts of the Spirit. (Yes, the Spirit has lusts, see Galatians 5:17, they are just a holy and righteous lusts. All lust means is a desire and yearning for. The Spirit desires and yearns for righteous things.) Why will you fulfill the lust of the Spirit if you are walking in the Spirit? Because that is the way you're walking. You can only go where you walk. So, how you walk (carry yourself) reflects what you want, where you want to go, and where you will go. So, whether you walk in the flesh or in the Spirit, that is what you will get because that is what you truly want and God will give a man what he truly wants, whether it is good or bad.

“He reigned flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fouls like as the sand of the sea:
And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations. So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire; They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths, The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.” -Psalm 78:27-31

“I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels. Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways.” -Psalm 81:10-13

Also, Romans 1:18-23 speaks of men who were suppressing the truth for their own selfish desires and it says in verse 24,
“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:” -Romans 1:24
Why did God give them over to the lusts of their own hearts? Because the lusts of their own hearts is what they wanted.
“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” -Romans 1:28
Why did God give them over to do those things which are not convenient? Because they wanted to do those things which are not convenient.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” -2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

Notice how it says they received not a love of the truth…it does not say that the love of the truth wasn't offered, but that they just did not receive it. Why didn't they receive it? Because they didn't want it. They didn't want the love of the truth. There are only two things in this world. The truth….and lies. If you hate one, you will love the other. If you love one, you will hate the other. So if they didn't want the truth, the wanted lies. And because they wanted lies, God gave them what they wanted...a strong delusion. Those who don't want truth want strong delusion, and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion. Again, why? Because they had pleasure in unrighteousness. So, because they had pleasure in and delighted themselves in nrighteousness (lies), that is what God gave them. Not that God lies, but he uses the lies that the flesh creates and sends them to people who desire them. You reap what you sow…period.
“The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.” -2 Timothy 2:6
(Whoever sows is a laborer)

This is a truly terrifying message and cuts deep, but it is 100% truth. We have no idea of our hearts desire so we must watch and pray. We must ask God sincerely for righteous desires, that we may be right with Him and be molded to be like the one true Lord of all; that we may be with Him for eternity in a place without sin, pain, trouble, or sorrow. It will be a hard walk, but with the right heart and with the help and strength of Jesus Christ, the almighty God, we can do it. If you have repented, been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, don't stop there.
“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgement.” -Hebrews 6:1-2

Continue to strive for more. If you stop then you will not make it to heaven.
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” -Matthew 24:13
If you have not obeyed Acts 2:38 then you must do so, and continue always to strive for perfection and excellence in Christ Jesus.

May the Lord help us all that strive for more in Christ to endure until the end, and enlighten the eyes of those who have not obeyed Acts 2:38. In Jesus’ name.

Spiritual Parasites

Parasite: 1.) an animal or plant that lives on or in an organism of another species from whose body it obtains nutriment. 2.) a person who habitually relies on or exploits others and gives nothing in return.  This definition implies that a parasite feeds, obtains nutrients from, and essentially drains its host.

Parasites can represent spirits, as they feed off and drain their host. A spirit is a thought, or pattern of thoughts, or a mindset, or an attitude. “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” -John 6:63. Words are expressed thoughts. He was saying his thoughts were spirit. “A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips he shall be filled.” -Proverbs 18:20. Now, we know that the mouth doesn't literally produce fruit. So this scripture is spiritual. The fruit of the mouth is the words a person speaks, and words are thoughts. We say nothing that doesn't first start in our mind. The scripture is pretty much saying, how a man thinks (his mindset) determines what he produces. “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” -Proverbs 23:7.

We know that the heart is the mind. A bad mindset produces bad fruit, and a good mindset produces good fruit. Now if we take this understanding and apply it where the Bible speaks on the fruit of the Spirit, we understand that the Spirit is the mindset of God; that mindset produces love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. I say all of that, to simply say this: spirits are thoughts and thoughts determine how you think or your mindset. So, spirits are mindsets. And if spirit is a mindset and parasites represent a spirit...a parasite represents a way of thinking (a mindset).

Some parasites consume your food, leaving you hungry after every meal and unable to gain weight. The meal is having church and the teaching of the word, and the parasite is whatever spirit (mindset) that rejects the word, and makes you unable to grow in Christ. “And when he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up.” -Matthew 13:4.
Others feed off of your red blood cells, causing anemia. People with anemia have a tendency to get cold quickly and they fatigue easily. Fatigue: extreme tiredness, typically resulting from mental or physical exertion or illness. Some people come to church, get hyped, and then die out and have no determination or dedication to do what they said they would do when they were motivated. The seed is received, it springs up, and it quickly withers away when it comes time to perform the word and really grow in Christ. “Some fell upon stoney places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: and when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root they withered away.” -Matthew 13:5-6.

Some parasites even cause itching and irritability. Anger is a fruit that a carnal parasite (spirit/mindset) produces. That is not a good fruit. “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:” -James 1:19

Some parasites even cause insomnia. “Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled I cannot speak.” -Psalm 77:4. Insomnia: inability to sleep. To sleep is to rest. We know that there is a spiritual rest in the Holy Ghost. That rest helps us not to worry and to trust God. But if a carnal parasite (spirit/mindset) causes you to have insomnia (worry) you cannot rest (trust God). And the Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. “Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” -Matthew 6:34.

Now that we know what some spiritual parasites are, the next questions are:  how do we avoid getting them, and if we do get them, how do we get rid of them. In order to know how not to contract them, we must know how they are contracted. The most common way to receive a parasite is through uncleanliness. Whether it is contaminated water, bad food, or from the eggs of a parasite on the ground; it is caused by contact with something unclean.

One example of a parasite that comes to mind is the mango worm. They are the larvae of the mango fly and are laid as eggs in the dirt. The animal or human then comes in contact with that dirt, whether it is by walking in that area barefoot, or rolling around or sleeping in the dirt. The freshly hatched larvae then burrow into the host's skin and feed on it. If the larvae burrow in at the wrong spot (in the ear tunnel leading to the brain) it can cause death. The worms, once settled in, are painful to have removed, and if enough burrow into the host, it can be impossible to remove all the worms, and can lead to death as well. Some patches on the host are so infested with worms that you cannot even get a good grip to squeeze them out and become inflamed which causes an animal extreme displeasure when someone tries to remove them, and they snap at the one who is trying to help them.

The dirt represents carnality. When you walk or step foot in carnality, or roll around in (enjoy) it, you receive worms (spirits) and they destroy you and deteriorate the good that is in you (the Holy Ghost). Once you receive or are exposed to those spirits it can be hard and painful to remove them. If they have enough influence it can completely separate you from God (cause spiritual death). If there are too many and/or are too deep, the preaching of the word won't have enough influence on you to be able to squeeze them out of you… also causing spiritual death.

There are parasites all around us in this unclean world, and we must be careful not to step foot in the dirt they are in. If anything, God forbid, should must be dealt with immediately and not be allowed to grow. This is done by the preaching of the word, rebuke, correction, reproved, etc.   The worms are removed by the doctor squeezing them out of the host. This is a type of the preaching of the word (goodness of God) leading to repentance.

Once the worms are squeezed out, the problem is solved, but you can't squeeze them out only halfway or even three-quarters of the way because it will wiggle its way back in and continue to feed. You have to get it out completely.

Another type of parasite is a mosquito. They fly around in the air and land on a host. The parasite itself can even transfer other parasites that it contains to the host. Of course, these mosquitoes represent people, and the parasites they transfer are the spirits (thoughts) they share. This is why we must be careful who we put ourselves around and what we watch and listen to. “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1 Corinthians 15:33. The Greek word for communication, in this context, means: companionship, intercourse, communion, communication. Of course, the root word of communication is commune. Commune: 1.) Share one's intimate thoughts or feelings with, especially when the exchange is spiritual. 2.) Feel in close spiritual contact. The definition implies the exchanging of thoughts or ideas (spirits). So, communication can really be anything that you associate yourself with and allow thoughts (spirits) and opinions to be exchanged; even if it isn't face-to-face. When you watch a video, the creator of that video is still communicating his thoughts and opinions to you; likewise with music.

Then people you talk with can be mosquitoes that transfer parasites (spirits). They themselves can be a parasite: they are a spirit or a mindset. They have their own certain way of thinking (mindset). This makes them a spirit. Just like we have a spirit and other spirits (other people's thoughts) have been transferred to us by experiences or teaching by other people. We never lose our spirit (mindset/way we do things), we just add or subtract to our spirit. Our spirit is affected by other people's spirit(s). Likewise, other people's spirits are affected by ours. Like Legion, he himself had a spirit (his own way of doing things/ personal mindset), but contained many spirits (other mindsets/ ways of thinking of certain things) that were transferred to him by people, circumstances, experiences, etc. And obviously they were the wrong spirits, and were transferred to him by the wrong people. Such examples represent why we should set boundaries. We should mindful of what we watch and listen to, and who we hang out with; because when spirits are received, they can be hard to get out. Some spirits can only be cast out by fasting and prayer (see Matthew 17:21).

We must be sober and vigilant because our adversary the devil is out seeking whom he may devour. Our carnal mind is always lurking and waiting for an opportunity to grab hold of something carnal. This is why the scripture says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” -Proverbs 4:27.
“But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.” -Romans 13:14.
“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.” -1 Peter 4:7.
“Keep back the servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.” -Psalm 19:13.
May God give those who read understanding in the things written and bring them further into perfection. In Jesus’ name.

Joseph Today

In the story of Joseph you read how the jealousy of his brothers caused him to go into slavery. [Gen 37:23, 28 KJV] The bible says there’s no new thing under the sun and that the Old Testament is given for our example. If you have ever had family betray you, you have an idea of what this must have been like. Seventeen years old and your whole life ahead of you. Your dreams of becoming this or that. You get up one day and per your fathers command set out for a life changing, dream crashing, devastating and betraying experience with your own family. Family, you know the ones that are supposed to be “blood is thicker than water” companions by your side.

Each and every moment had hope, fears and imagination running wild in it. If you haven’t received a life changing phone call, been through a life changing event, then right you might not understand what he was going through. But I’ve received that more than once and during those moments, your mind is racing. He is now a slave. From the owner to the slave in one day. He could really be beaten to death for disobedience. The mercy of God was to put him in Potiphar’s house. It wasn’t to deliver him from slavery. In Potiphar’s house he became favored. [Gen 39:1, 6, 21 KJV]

Here’s where I want to really begin. Joseph wasn’t some super human perfect man. He was like you and I. How could he not be sitting there imagining his father hearing that he was gone and not coming to look for him? He had dreams of his brothers bowing to him. His father loved him and gave him the very coat his brothers took off him that day. His father lived for God and God talked to him. He knows its death or beating if he tries to run away. Canaan is not a short distance to travel, if he even knew the way. Really what else is he to do but serve? He believed there is a God of Israel. He believed and loved the stories he had heard all his life. He wanted the blessing he was told about. So he did what we would do, serve his master until his deliverance would come.

I work at my job. Some days it’s easy, other days it’s hard. I have good moments and bad moments. I haven’t found a better job yet. There were days I wanted to walk off, days I said things I shouldn’t have. I’ve been there twenty five years now and I’m still looking for a new job. Sure I could’ve walked off, quit and lost everything. Everything meaning my favor with God. God has through all my faults and mistakes, given me favor with the owner and my boss. I am not some super human Christian that never did or said anything wrong and yet God has been with me and I have favor.  I have to believe it was the same for Joseph because there’s no new thing under the sun.

I can imagine Joseph making himself comfortable in his servant-hood. His boss made him the chief of all things. Maybe life wasn’t that bad after all. Sure his father never searched for him and his brothers “got away with” selling him. Oh year after year I can see the disappointment of each new voice, new person, new gossip and yet no sign of his family regretting what they did or his loving father searching for him. His dreams were now something he pushed aside yet he still knew God was with him. Those little God winks as we call them today. Telltale signs that let you know He does exist and for some reason is allowing this. You don’t understand but you submit anyway. He is God and maybe what you are going through will show itself one day. Maybe there’s something coming you don’t see or know about that He is doing, cause you see Him. You feel Him and you know He’s there; and all the other things we tell ourselves today to help us cope with disappointment and life changing events.

How can I say “all this?” Really think about how you respond to things today. You’re the same human being he was. You don’t know the whole story either. But you can do like he did and live for God no matter what comes your way. Not with a human perfection our mind likes to trip us into believing in order to change the situation. If I were better, didn’t speak this or do that. Well yes, you are learning, but I can’t see Joseph as perfect in everything or else he would have been without sin. I only know of one who was without sin and that is God.

The bible is clear that Joseph had forgotten his dreams (Gen 42:9) and was living daily in hopes of freedom in his requests to the butler.  [Gen 40:14-15 KJV But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.] This is eleven years after that day.
Another hope and another disappointment. The butler was restored, the baker was hanged and Joseph was forgotten. I myself have made the best of things and have had some great times, memories and was used of God during this time of vanished dreams. I can relate on so many levels, except the ones that speak of Joseph as if he were super human. As if he didn’t make a mistake at all or else he wouldn’t have been used of God. No, Joseph loved the God of Israel, his God. But he was in all points tempted and with sin. The things the bible points out is the times where it showed he chose not to willingly sin but to live for God during temptation. I have those moments too and the others God doesn’t bring up unless it helps me and others to overcome. He puts it under the blood with repentance.

Two years later and now thirteen years after being sold into slavery, Joseph meets Pharaoh. (Gen 41) During those thirteen years he learned how to manage and increase goods. He learned how to speak the Egyptian language fluently. I can also say, since I am learning this, he learned how to control his emotions and believe that God is working when you don’t see Him working. When he went throughout all the land, he could’ve understood at that time the dreams given to baker and butler. He could name it as a God working in his benefit. It might have taken a few days to put everything together, after all it was another one of those life altering experiences; from prison to a palace in one day.

[Gen 42:9, 18 KJV And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye [are] spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come. ... 18 And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God:]

Joseph had ups and downs, but maintained his belief that God was God. Knowing that I can see at times God working in my life would lead me to believe that after the dreams, he did too. He grew in wisdom and had convictions. This is the key element in your life. Those convictions have kept me out of a mess and in favor with God.

[Gen 50:19-21 KJV And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?  But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.]

At the end of this story it’s easy to miss a few more things. It was jealousy that his brothers needed to repent of. In order to repent they had to come to the place of acknowledging God saw it and they didn’t get away with it. They too had to confront it. Joseph had to go through thirteen years period. It didn’t matter how much he prayed, how faithful he was, how “perfect” his walk with God was or anything else people like to throw are you proclaiming all the reasons you haven’t been delivered or are in the situation you’re in. He had to be there for yes, himself, but because of his brothers. It’s proven with Benjamin and no jealousy when given a double portion and Judah willing to offer his life for him. What a change that took thirteen years to produce.

When you’re going through your life changing, dream shattering events and no deliverance seems to be coming your way; remember that Joseph didn’t know the end of the story all those years either. Pray that God will give you want you need to change as He sees fit and that if someone else is the cause of your “event,” that you’ll have forgiveness and wisdom to deal with it / them when the time comes. It will come. Hopefully you are not the cause of someone else’s event. But if so, repent. Judah repented and was converted. You know that God accepted him because He came through Judah and is known as the Loin of Judah. Be all you can be and know that no one did anything in the bible that you yourself cannot do, both good and bad. Flesh is flesh and God is good!!!!

He alone is God and His name is Jesus

The goal in this is to state facts, ask questions (in most cases answering with the obvious and logical answer) and to let God reveal that He alone is God and His name is Jesus.

According to Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible and Strong’s Expanded Dictionary of Bible Words, cognate 3068 Yhvh or Yehovah (used in Ex. 3:15) means: (the) self-existent or eternal. This is derived from cognate 1961 hayah (used in Ex. 3:14) which means: to exist, be, become.
Let’s look at the various uses of Jehovah (the self-existent) throughout the old testament.

1.)    Jehovah-Jireh: (the) self-existent will see (to it)
                 2.)    Jehovah-Nissi: (the) self-existent (is) my banner
3.)    Jehovah-Tsidkenu: (the) self-existent (is) our right or righteousness
                 4.)    Jehovah-Shalom: (the) self-existent (is) peace
                 5.)    Jehovah-Shammah: (the) self-existent (is) thither

We see, through examination of the use of this word, Jehovah is not actually a name such as Darryl, Chris, Cory, Tony, Tyler etc., but acts as an adjective: describing the nature of God…self-existent.
What then does the bible mean in Exodus 3:15?

“And God said moreover unto Moses, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the self-existent (Lord) God of your fathers, the self-existent (Lord) God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name forever.”

When you understand that the definition of the word name is simply, a word or set of words by which a person, animal, place, or thing is known, addressed, or referred to, you understand that the Almighty was simply saying that He was always going to be known as the self-existent God of the fathers of the children of Israel. He was not speaking of a name such as Darryl, Chris, Cory, Tony, Tyler, etc., but was simply stating that He was always going to be known by that word or set of words to the children of Israel. He truly is the self-existent God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and He shall be known as that for evermore, but He does in fact have a true name.
How do we know? Well, when we use the same definition of the word name and apply it to Matthew 28:19, we find something very interesting….

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” -Matthew 28:19

We must do two things here:
1.       We must realize it says name (singular) and not names (plural). This means that Jesus was stating that there is one name that applies to all three of the titles mentioned. Just as  you or I can have multiple titles, but we have a name.
2.       We must use what we know and apply our understanding of the word name in its proper context.

When we do these things, we read it like this, “…baptizing them in the word by which the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are all known by.”
This is how we know that the self-existent God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has a true name now.
What is his name?  His name is Jesus.

The Son said, “I am come in my Father’s name…” -John 5:43. This is hinting that the name of the Father is Jesus.   Of course, the Son’s name is Jesus.

Last but certainly not least, “But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name…” -John 14:16. This tells us that the name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus.
Jesus is the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Jesus is “…Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” -Revelation 1:8

This means that there is not a threefold Godhead with three distinct, separate, but co-equal and co-eternal individuals (making it Godheads, thereby implying three Gods), but rather that there is only one God, who “is a Spirit” (John 4:24), the Almighty God, who was “…manifest in the flesh…” -1 Tim. 3:16. Who made himself a man, yet was not the product nor the offspring of a man but of God (that by definition makes him the Son of God), though He came through a woman (which makes Him the Son of man), that He (the Almighty God) could put the fullness of the Godhead (His Spirit) in the body He created for Himself (Christ). “For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” -Col. 2:9

The bible says, “God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself…” -2 Cor. 5:19.

Which God is that scripture referring to? Isn’t there only one God? Isn’t that one God the Almighty God?
This means that the Almighty God was in Christ. After all, Jesus did say, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” -Matthew 28:18. Did he not? Another word for power is might. If Jesus has all might, doesn’t that make Him Almighty?

The bible says that Christ is the express image of God’s person (Heb. 1:3), and that He is the “…image of the invisible God…” -Col. 1:15.

The definition of Greek cognate 5287 (used in Hebrews 1:3 as person) is, essence. A synonym for essence in the English language is spirit. The definition of synonym is, a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word or phrase in the same language. So, essence and spirit mean the exact or nearly the exact same thing.

Our bodies are the express image of our spirit (person). Our bodies simply hold our spirit. In the same way, Christ (the body God made for himself) is the express image of the Almighty God’s spirit, which was in Christ “…reconciling the world unto himself...” -2 Cor. 5:19. That is why Jesus said, “…the Father is in me…” -John 14:11. The body was simply the holding cell of God Almighty who “ a Spirit...” -John 4:24.

“Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. “-John 14:8-10

Why would Jesus Christ refer to himself as the Father (Almighty God) if he wasn’t? Was Jesus Christ a liar? Does not the bible clearly say that “…in Him (Christ) is no sin…” -1 John 3:5? If Jesus Christ was not the Father in the Son, that makes Christ a liar, and lying is a sin, but Christ “…knew no sin…” -2 Cor. 5:21 and cannot lie.

You will ask, “Why did Christ say, ‘My Father is greater than I.’” -John 14:28? Jesus was referring to the body He was in. Did not Paul do the same thing when he said, “…in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing…” -Rom. 7:18?

Flesh is inferior to God Almighty, is it not?

If man was made lower than the angels (Psalm 8:4) doesn’t that mean we are lower than God too?
Jesus was saying, “My Father (the Spirit of God Almighty) who “…is in me…” (John 14:11) is greater than this flesh.

Why is the manifestation of the Father greater than the manifestation of the Son? Because the manifestation of the Father is not limited by the flesh.  But isn’t the manifestation of the Son, the Father in the flesh?  Yes.   Then why can’t the manifestation of the Son know the time and day of the end?

It is because of the limitation of the flesh. When the Spirit of the Father manifested himself in the flesh, He willingly limited Himself and gave up His omniscience that He could be in the flesh and save us. No flesh and blood holds the ability to know everything. So, God, loving our lives more than He loved His, sacrificed His omniscience to come suffer the pains of this life and death that we may be saved.

Speaking of being saved, “…there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” -Acts 4:12

How are we saved? “…baptism doth also now save us…” -1 Peter 3:21. How do we stay saved? We receive the Holy Ghost and keep in unto the end. “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” -Matthew 24:13.

Anyways…saved by baptism. What does this mean? It means our sins are remitted (forgiven). How are our sins remitted? By baptism in Jesus’ name. (See Acts 2:38)

The Jews asked a good question, “…who can forgive sins but God (the Almighty) only?” -Mark 2:7
First, this is hinting that Jesus Christ is the Almighty God manifest in the flesh (see again 1 Tim. 3:16) because He has the power to forgive sins.

Second, this raises a question. If God Almighty is the only one who can forgive sins, who’s name but God Almighty’s has the power to remit sins? If the Almighty God is the only individual who can remit sins, then His name is the only name that has the power to remit sins.

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” -Acts 2:38

And as the word of God has already established, “…there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” -Acts 4:12

The only way the apostles had the power to remit sins is through the name of Jesus Christ in baptism. Is that not how our sins are remitted? Does it not say in Acts 2:38 to be baptized for the remission of sins? Yes, it absolutely does. Baptism in Jesus’ name is the only way to have our sins remitted, because Jesus Christ is not here bodily anymore to forgive sins. Therefore, we must use His name.

A triune Godhead that claims there is three separate but equal individuals, but is defying the way God made things, one individual: it’s impossible and that would mean there are three Gods. If there are three separate individuals in the Godhead and all are God, there cannot be one individual God. There is nothing in creation that can be three individuals, yet one individual. The doctrine of the trinity is “…philosophy and vain deceit,” and is “…after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” -Colossians 2:8.

It is confusing and cannot truly be understood. In response to such a statement, true trinitarians would say that the Godhead is so complex that we can’t understand it. This is not true “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal Godhead and power; so that they are without excuse:” -Romans 1:20.

The bible does not teach there is a trinity, or a triune God, nor three separate but co-equal and co-eternal individual persons in the Godhead. In fact, you will not even find one of these sayings in the word of God. The bible teaches that there is one God, the Almighty God, Jesus, who revealed himself in the flesh (1Tim. 3:16) and died for our sins; “that remission of sins (baptism) should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” -Luke 24:47.

That His Spirit, the Spirit of Almighty God, Jesus, may dwell in us and continually cleanse us and purge us of all ungodliness until “…Until the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.” -Titus 2:13

[Isa 43:10-15 KJV Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.]

Adams nature and the evil in this world

This is a continuation on the thought of Adams nature. More explicitly the serpent part of that nature.
The serpent was that poisonous thought which comes from the heart and lies concerning the known truth. That produces rebellion and resentments. The serpent is the contrary thought that comes from within out of the heart (Mat 7:21).
I would like to point out that Jesus dealt with this in two particular places.
John 3:13-14
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

If God cannot be seen as Jesus, then there is deception here. There are many who can see that Jesus is God but they do not seem to grasp the greatest miracle of all; which is what he came into the flesh to perform. He took the serpent nature of Adam to the tree. If while looking at the cross you do not see a serpent hanging dead there, then you have the wrong God. The almighty God came into flesh and blood for one specific reason and that was to save sinners.
In order for the master to do such a thing he had to become part of them to destroy that thing in them which had them in bondage and captivity to sin and death. The serpent nature of Adam, this is the reason God called for a serpent to be displayed on a pole and healed all who would look for a long period of time at it. Today it requires nothing less than to see the serpent on the cross Jesus took, this is the reason John wrote of it in John 3:14.
God took his one, true and only body, the only begotten Son, the Son with both divine nature and human nature, the human nature is the serpent nature of Adam, and hung it on a tree. For God so loved the world and those bitten to death by the serpent nature of Adam, that he came himself to provide us with a remedy and a promise of salvation through himself.
If you do not see a serpent on the pole it is because you cannot figure out what a serpent would be doing in Jesus; further how a serpent would have anything to do with salvation. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whomsoever believeth in him should not perish. The only way one would perish is to not see and investigate the serpent part of what Jesus did at Calvary. This is how he destroyed the devil and this is how each person destroys the devil through faith and a continued look into the perfect law of liberty.

Jesus put on the perfect law and gave the perfect law to the world by the disciples. The world however does not want the perfect law, they want the lesser imperfect Law of Moses. Why? Because the Law of Moses deals only with the exterior and the perfect law deals with both interior and exterior. Keep the Ten Commandments and claim Jesus as your savior and your all set, right? Wrong! Can you not see that the old man which lived in the Law of Moses must be killed and he cannot be killed through law. He must be killed by the teachings of Jesus and the perfect law of the apostles. The Law of Moses could not kill the serpent nature it could only prohibit it, stall the inevitable which is death. The perfect law however kills the old nature and reveals to us the divine nature. This is the reason why the same Spirit Jesus accomplished this all with must be received by all those who will put off the old man and put on the new men.
We must receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost in order to accomplish the new birth. We must be led by the Spirit of God in order to be sons of God. For us to think we can live in the serpent nature of Adam and gain eternal life is a fairy tale thought. Baptism in Jesus name is necessary, it is to show the serpent nature of Adam must be buried and the divine nature of God put on. This is the Gospel. Any other gospel is not a gospel at all. The old man must die and the Holy Ghost promise of Acts 2: must be received. And with many other words did he testify and exhort saying save yourselves from this untoward generation. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship etc.....

Men and brethren, what shall we do? Peters divine authority and answer was REPENT! Repent from what? The Law of Moses you have been living by which crucified Christ. You have taken by your wicked hands and crucified and slain. Acts 2:23. They needed to repent of trusting any longer in the Law of Moses. Now was the time Jesus died for, to be able to point out the culprit and the cause of his murder. Now the out pouring of his Spirit to give a new birth, one that would grant eternal life and victory over death and hell. To prove his perfect law would lead to eternal life by his resurrection.
Acts 2:37-40
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

This scripture illustrates that Jesus took upon himself the sinful nature of Adam, the serpent nature or the nature with the serpent in it. As the children are partakers of flesh and blood he likewise took part of the same that through death he might destroy him that hath the power of death, that is the devil. The power of death and those that trust in the law of sin and death are why Jesus came with another law, called the perfect law of liberty. The law that would free men from their sins. By the sacrifice of himself as a lamb without spot nor blemish he died for the sins committed by the serpent nature. Those who continue to believe that somehow the Law of Moses can save them without the perfect law are in trouble. They remain trapped in the law of sin and death. There is no possibility of salvation attempting to remain in the serpent nature of Adam. “Accept the Lord as your personal savior” will keep a person trapped in the serpent nature of Adam. Believe on the Lord and thou shalt be saved. This is true but requires much more in the way of a continued believing and hearing truth. The law requires no new birth and those who keep the law of types and shadows use the natural elements for salvation. Bread and wine which represents the word and Spirit of God. The natural element cannot save you are anyone. The perfect law however begins with the Gospel message and is completed by the epistles and teachings of Christ.
Rom 8:1-8
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ is the perfect law of liberty. The law which frees men through the Gospel message of Acts 2:38. Death, burial and resurrection. What dies? The first nature is turned from (repent) to be killed. What is burial? The person identifies themselves with the perfect law of liberty in Christ Jesus through water baptism in Jesus name. What is the new birth? The infilling of the Holy Ghost. It is being born by the Spirit of God into the church with the apostles’ doctrine so the first born nature can be destroyed by putting on the Lord Jesus Christ through obedience to his word.

To be carnally minded is death. To see the figures of the old in any other way beside figures is to be carnally minded. To be carnally minded is to keep the ten commandments and believe that is enough for salvation. To be carnally minded is to leave the allegories of the Old Testament remain simply literal, not seeing what they represent and stand for. So here goes.
John 3:13-14 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

There are many ministers and others who cannot understand this scripture and are blinded because of they’re seeing the serpent as literal. Seeing the serpent as the devil, who escaped Eden and now continues in an invisible state with his evil heard of angelic followers. The devil is the serpent, not one who escaped, but a title of a part of the evil nature of Adam. The serpent did not escape Eden to wander to and fro. The serpent left the garden in the nature of Adam. This is how the evils of sin continue to ravish those who gave themselves to it. Ishmael, Esau, Ham, Jeroboam, etc......this scripture in John 3 which says: as the serpent was lifted up even so must the son of man be lifted up. Does this not appear to be in conflict with rational thinking? Christ the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. Yes but as the children are partakers of flesh and blood he likewise took part of the same that through death, he might destroy him that has the power of death that is the devil. Those who remained in the law, stayed in a law that could only produce conviction of sin and finally death, having no remedy or escape from sin or death. The law could only prolong the inevitable and finally death would prevail and sin would conquer. So Jesus took on himself flesh and blood which contained Adams nature and the serpent. Jesus overcame the serpent in Adams nature by obedience to his own word and perfect law. The only way men will ever truly understand this scripture is to know the truth on the devil. The devil is the serpent in Adams nature. The devil is the firstborn nature. The serpent is the thoughts which come from the heart of the firstborn nature.

Num 21:5-9
And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

The people of Israel had murmured and spoken against Moses and Aaron. For this the Lord sent literal poisonous snakes among them to bite them and to kill some of them. But along with the serpents he also gave a remedy. Many came to Moses acknowledging their transgression and asked Moses to pray for the serpents to be taken away from them. God did not take the fiery serpents away from them, but instead, he gave us a figure that foreshadowed his very coming in the flesh. Those who would continually look upon it would live. This is the figure for us, those that will understand and continually look upon the truth of Jesus coming in the flesh to take upon himself the serpent nature of Adam, will live. How can one adequately and wholly look upon Jesus and the cross he bore without understanding he took upon the serpent nature of Adam? Why must we continually look upon Jesus taking the serpent to the tree? Because he destroyed the serpent nature of Adam on the cross. The cross was denying the serpent nature to retaliate and win in that manner (after the flesh). He denied his own serpent nature of Adam in order to overcome death. The cross was not the end it was the answer for living. As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he likewise took part of the same that through death, even the death of the cross he might destroy him that hath the power of death, the serpent nature is the one who has the power of death and that is the devil.
The people spoken of in Numbers 21 wanted the answer of how to cease from being bitten. God showed Moses the answer for them was to continually look on the serpent on the pole. When they continued to look upon the serpent on the pole, the literal serpents stopped biting them. When we look and see how Jesus’s perfect law gave him power over the serpent, when we see how he took the serpent to the cross, we can deny ourselves of the same lusts and temptations of our serpent nature and overcome being bitten by it ourselves. The invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made (Rom 1:20). This type and shadow makes the invisible serpent nature abiding in us clearly seen. Murmuring and complaining instead of rejoicing that God had brought them out of Egyptian bondage was definitely a poisonous bite. God sent them literal serpents with poisonous venom to make them understand what they were doing when they spoke such things. They were killing themselves with poisonous words and evil speaking. God has given us the answer also by revealing it to us in Jesus taking the serpent nature of Adam to the cross. The reason he never opened his mouth in retaliation or complaint, reveals the divine nature. Jesus in his dying gave us the possibility of being partakers of the divine nature through faith. This makes it clear why we are to hear the word of God and change accordingly.
Those who refused Christ Jesus choosing rather to remain in the serpent nature of Adam did so in direct opposition to the doctrine of the apostles and of Christ.
Rom 1:20-25 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen
Vs. 20 if the Jew had attempted to see the truth through the figures of the Old Testament, they would have clearly understood the devil, the reason for the cross, the death, burial and resurrection. Paul is writing about those who had heard the words of Jesus and the Gospel message of the Apostles. To know God one must obey God. At one particular point these men knew God by keeping the commandments of Jesus’s perfect law, he wrote and also gave to his disciples. These men knew God but glorified him not as God, by not being thankful for the perfect law and they reverted back partially to the unfulfilled law. Through faith in the perfect law they had been enlightened but through returning to the unfulfilled law, their foolish heart was darkened by a law which could not save. The Law of Moses was meant to be fulfilled, anyone who returns back to Moses law after having known the truth in Christ’s perfect law, is like a dog returning to eat what he had regurgitated or vomited. To partake of anything to do with the Mass is sacrilege. The Mass incorporates the literal and unfulfilled type and shadow of bread. The Mass incorporates also the type and shadow of literal wine. This is an abomination to the Lord. Mass is an invented word to describe a scripturally illegal ceremony said to gain Christ and eternal life. The word fulfills the bread and the Holy Ghost the wine. Which is not part of the Mass. There is no such thing as Christ-Mass...
None of this brings any glory to God, it changes the glory which belongs to God in fulfilling the types and shadows, back to worshiping and serving the creature by types and shadows.

1 John 2:4-5 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
The types and shadows of the law were revealed to Paul and the apostles. So Paul was writing here to make the church understand why there were those who still remained partially in the law and partially in truth. Although the law is truth, it is not usable for salvation if it is not fulfilled in the coming of Christ. There were many of the Jews that heard the Gospel message, who received the Holy Ghost and began to obey the commandments given by the apostles, of the perfect law of liberty. The book of Acts and the epistles contain the perfect law of liberty along with the words which were spoken by Jesus when he was in the body of his flesh. Paul writing here in vs 20. Relates the fact that many which had originally began right did not remain right. When they knew God by keeping the commandments of the perfect law, the apostles doctrine, ceased to believe it was necessary and turned back to their trust in the Law of Moses for righteousness. Now if they had simply taken the apostles at their word and received the spiritual understanding of the law, they would have seen clearly and never stopped their obedience to the truth. Seeing the meaning of the types and shadows as afore mentioned concerning the serpent on the pole. The spiritual understanding of that, was the coming of Christ, having taken upon himself the serpent nature of Adam and destroy it on the cross through death. God having created all of these types before his coming so that his fulfilling them could be seen clearly by the church.
1 Tim 1:7-8
Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
The law used lawfully is used in types and shadows, patterns, allegories, figures and such to relay spiritual information for that which is fulfilled in the new testament church.
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
When one knows God it is by and through obeying him. Glorifying God is to take the truth in through faith and allow it to change your thinking and actions. This is a true worshiper, one who believes the word and becomes a doer of the word, reflecting the word in their spirit. The true worshiper must worship the Father in spirit and truth. The truth believed must reach the actions of the believer. This is a lifetime project and one that can only be done in the church. The beginning of their demise was their unthankfulness for having the truth. It was the Law of Moses that many held to in retaliation of the need of further refinement by the truth revealed in Christ. So now the serpent nature of Adam was again at work as in the Garden of Eden. The serpent nature of Adam was implying that the need for salvation by and through the apostles doctrine was not necessary. The sacrifice of Jesus was necessary to fulfill the law but the rest of the law could remain. In this way they became vain, and continuing on such a path became an imagination. They refused to see the types and shadows and the spiritual understanding they possessed.
Therefore denying the only Lord God even our Lord Jesus Christ. So instead of acknowledging the truth of God given to the church: some apostles and prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints and the edifying of the body of Christ, they instituted a Pope like a high priest, cardinals, and a religious hierarchy completely different than that given to the church by the apostles. They kept all of the literal articles of the Old Testament, making their use imperative. They changed the baptism of the Holy Ghost into a drink of literal wine; forsaking completely any need for spiritual understanding and enlightenment. So now they created the Eucharist of bread which when eaten turns from bread into Christ inside of the soul. For baptism they kept Old Testament sprinkling instead of the New Testament revelation of the apostles to totally immerse the candidate.
Vs 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Their foolish heart was darkened. This one statement by the apostle reveals that they turned back to the law in places for salvation. They changed the truth of God into a lie, which was keeping the types and shadows for salvation instead of receiving the spiritual understanding of the apostles. Professing themselves to be wise they became fools.
This takes us to the place of the five wise and the five foolish virgins. The wise virgins took oil in their lamps choosing to believe the doctrine of the apostles, the foolish virgins took lamps with no oil, taking the false doctrines of the arisen false church. The serpent nature of Adam had been successful once again in the New Testament, wiggling its way to pervert the truth by making the serpent nature look good enough to bring salvation.
The serpent nature of Adam can convince one it is good and can attain to the divine nature without the divine anointing of the Holy Ghost and the doctrine of the apostles. No man can be accepted of God being in the serpent nature of Adam. The serpent nature must be replaced by the divine nature. The divine nature consisting of the qualities: 1. Faith. 2. Virtue 3. Knowledge 4. Temperance 5. Patience 6. Godliness 7. Brotherly kindness 8. Charity. The wise virgins received through faith the Holy Ghost and continued in the truth of the apostles adding the qualities of God to their lives and destroying the qualities of the Adam nature. The wise virgins obtained spiritual understanding from the apostles and Christ. The wise virgins were thankful and glorified God through being obedient to the truth of the New Testament teachings of the apostles. The foolish virgins glorify him not as God because they “shop” for the easier way: settling that the Adam nature can achieve eternal life in some way. They remain believing there is some power in the Law of Moses without being fulfilled in Christ, which will usher them into eternal life. They however are wrong, the door being shut to them so that they cannot enter.
Vs. 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Paul in the book of Romans writes to those in Rome, attempting to make them understand how to be carnally minded is death. To show them what happened in the beginning of the church to corrupt the true teachings of the apostles. The teachings they themselves had received from Christ himself, the very one true God of heaven.
Jesus was the image of the invisible God and showed the true sacrifice which would be accepted of God by making himself a living sacrifice, destroying the serpent nature of Adam with his perfect law of liberty. Humbling himself and his serpent nature by living the divine nature through obedience to the perfect law. It was the perfect law of liberty that Jesus related and transferred to the apostles for the church to gain eternal life.
The apostles teaching the perfect law which would bring liberty over sin, was opposed by those who stood on the side of the Law of Moses without fulfillment in Christ and his sacrifice on the cross. The serpent will do anything to stay off the cross. The serpent nature of Adam is in every one of us, but there is and was a remedy given by God in Christ. Destroy the old nature by taking upon you the new one revealed by the apostles of the Lamb. Paul related the fact that those who once knew God by obedience to the apostles’ doctrine turned from that, going back to the image made by the law. The law requiring the destruction and separation of animals in various ways, the birds and four footed beasts and creeping things. This is what happens when the apostles’ doctrine is rejected for the insufficient sacrifices of the law. Men remain in their animal natures, the serpent nature of Adam. The nature cannot be changed by any literal object. The meaning of the object must be made known in order for people to be changed spiritually. The gift of the Holy Ghost is necessary for the new birth to take place. Then being led by the Spirit through the apostles’ doctrine is the only way the new birth can be effective and produce growth. The Holy Ghost and the apostles doctrine is the oil the foolish virgins did not get. The foolish virgins attempted to live for God in the serpent nature of Adam, which the law cannot destroy. There are many who claim salvation through the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus and his dying on the cross, yet while keeping the serpent nature of Adam, they attempt to portray the divine nature. This is impossible. The serpent nature of Adam must be destroyed, killed, wiped out, eradicated and replaced by the divine nature. This is a miraculous process and one that requires a lifetime of prayer and seeking God to accomplish. There is not condemnation while we through hearing the word and gaining faith in our churches, become partakers of the divine nature. We add by prayer and seeking God the qualities only he can give.

Here is the scripture that depicts the life of a foolish virgins: who worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator who is blessed forever. It was not that they did not worship God, they just worshipped the creature, the serpent nature of Adam more than the Creator. This is how the foolish virgins became foolish, this is a great deception to those who are blind and looking for truth and do not know where to find it. The foolish virgins are very attractive to the flesh. The foolish appeal to those who would like salvation in a more moderate change and style. Because of such a deception being in the world many will never receive the truth. Because the truth has been changed into a lie by the foolish virgins. Therefore those who do not receive a love for the truth will find themselves in a church that worships God but the creature more. Churches that have “fifteen minute church” so the rest of the day can be used for the flesh and its desires is a foolish church. Thinking they have done some spiritual thing by literally eating for a spiritual supper. What an imagination.

2 Thess 2:7-12
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
People who see churches of all sorts are looking at a mystery. The problem is that they believe they are all teaching the correct doctrines that will do the job sufficiently for getting them into heaven. The mystery of iniquity is the strong delusion God promised to send those who received not a love of the truth. This is the reason for this writing. That men may be incited in some way to compare the words of scripture with what is being said here and see the deception in the world and its churches. Those who left the apostles doctrine committed iniquity against the ministry of God and his apostles. The only real and true ministry in the world. The apostles and the early churches which believe the truth were an opposing force against those who were given to change. Those who partially went back to the teachings of the law for salvation. The only way the Pope’s teachings and the doctrines of the false church will ever be destroyed are by the spirit of the mouth of those who know and represent the truth.
There is no invisible individual named Satan which is promoting evil in the earth. Satan is the spirit of the serpent nature of Adam. The false church arose by the cunning innuendos of the serpent nature of those who saw a way to claim salvation in Christ; while keeping portions of the law to make easier and more advantageous in making money. The false churches hierarchy arose as soon as the apostles were removed through martyrdom. Those who would not succumb to the teachings of the false church were martyred.
All deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish. For a while they looked the part but the compromise of the truth would soon corrupt entirely. The truth was not abandoned entirely, they changed it, refused to fulfil it, and killed those who did not agree. So instead of God giving a clear note on the subject, he let the falseness become a strong delusion, so that all who would not receive a love for the truth would believe a lie and be damned. These are not idle or small words. The devil then and his angels are those who preach the false doctrines omitting the need for the apostles’ doctrine and teaching. This evil is alive in the earth in men. Spiritual wickedness is not a flying bunch in the sky or invisible nowhere. Spiritual wickedness is when the word of God which came from the apostles is mutilated with the mixture of unfulfilled law. Making salvation possible without the baptism of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit give the utterance. Making salvation possible by a drink or bite of food. Some believe the word and the food are necessary to enter heaven. The unfulfilled cannot be mixed with the fulfilled for salvation. It is a deception in the highest means.
Eph 6:12-19
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

The lies I have heard from the scholars of fiction and imagination on these verses are more than heart breaking. I have heard men speak concerning the principalities as if they were invisible creatures in outer space and in our presence, invisible creatures that fell from Gods angelic host to make up spiritual wickedness thus affecting men from the unseen world. High places to them is space, outer space and in space around us. This is so far from the truth all because men refuse the truth on the serpent nature of Adam. They actually believe that all churches which have Jesus Christ proclaimed as savior are in fact saved. This is so far from truth. Spiritual wickedness is when men who had truth went back to portions of the law and changed truth into a lie. It is spiritual wickedness to proclaim a gospel message that does not have the baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues in it.
It is spiritual wickedness to profess there is a pope or potentate who represents Christ as vicar of God in the earth when in fact there is no such thing. It is spiritual wickedness when the Old Testament types and shadows are used for salvation and the apostles’ doctrine turned from. The literal bread which has no saving quality in it at all. The only saving quality of bread is that it represents the word of God, it is the word of God which must be ingested for salvation not a bite of bread or drink of wine. There is no saving quality in literal wine and those that proclaim there is remain in spiritual wickedness. Their principals are perverted principals. Their powers are perverted and fake powers. Yet God will perform through them to promote delusion to those who refuse to love his truth. The evil day is the day when the false church and its doctrines are rampant and received by the masses. When the whole world seems to have been taken by falseness and lies.

Paul said this dilemma would take root, after his departure grievous wolves would enter in and destroy the churches. Wolves of false teaching and perverted doctrine of the law mixed with truth. Paul asked the church to pray for him that the mystery of the gospel could be made known by him. This was a tall undertaking and still yet it remains a tall undertaking. The mystery of the gospel is to be able to decipher and dig through the rubble of false teachers and present the gospel of Acts 2:38 along with the need for the apostles’ doctrine. Men with the serpent nature of Adam presented an alternative to the truth just like in the Garden of Eden, intimating absolute truth was not necessary to be totally observed to be saved. This is what men are who lift themselves above the doctrines of the apostles to pervert the gospel in presenting many other methods of salvation. They are spiritually wicked yet the world who is blind do not see them as such. If the true gospel is not revealed, if the mystery is not revealed of how so many gospels were created and perpetrated, men will be lost.
Spiritual interpretation is needed in order that the truth concerning a literal object can be understood. The rock that followed them, that rock was Christ! That rock was a literal rock but it represented Christ Jesus. This is correct interpretation. That literal rock in the wilderness was not Christ but it represented Christ. That rock was Christ, the apostle giving the spiritual meaning of a natural rock. Spiritual wickedness is to change this somehow and pervert it.

Jude 3-13
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Jude is speaking of men who left the truth for the lies of unfulfilled law. Back to darkness, no water to give, no winds but false ones, only fruit that withers, twice dead, meaning they were alive once and died to sin to be alive in Christ, turning back to law are dead the second time. Plucked up by the roots, the teaching of the apostles of Christ. Raging waves of the sea, causing upheaval for the church, supporting the teachings of law and advocating them for salvation. They wander from the place that had them revolving around the Sun which is Christ and his doctrine. They are back to darkness reserved in the blackness and darkness forever.

The serpent nature of the law was revealed in those who did not want to glorify God by remaining faithful to the apostles’ doctrine. Going back and propagating the law as still retaining some sort of power for salvation, contending that it did not need to be fulfilled by the apostles’ doctrines and teachings. This is explained by Jude by using three characters in allegory to explain what exactly happened to the faith. The angels which kept not their first estate, Adam and Eve were deceived by the serpent nature of Adam and fell. They were figures of those who would receive the truth of the apostles’ doctrine and being taken by the serpent nature also. Cain was the first example.
Cain refused to offer the sacrifice God required to be accepted. Therefore Cain is the figure of those who went from truth and glorified him not as God by keeping the sacrifice of the apostles’ doctrine. They returned back to the law and darkness to offer the unaccepted sacrifice of law from the ground. As Cain killed his brother in jealous rage for being accepted of God. So those who rejected the true sacrifice of the perfect law in the apostles’ doctrine persecute those who received the perfect law of Christ.
So the first figure and type of those who change truth into a lie is Cain. Who served the creature, Korah the second figure, who was part of Israel, attempted to usurp authority over the leadership of Moses was the next example. As Korah attempted to overthrow the leadership of Moses, so these men attempted to overthrow the apostles. Unsuccessful they brought to themselves swift destruction in leaving the truth. Yet in their leaving made the gospel message more and more difficult to find. Finally Balaam.......the prophet who did not belong to the nation of Israel. The prophet who had an insatiable desire to be elevated into a high position by the king of Moab. Although Balaam seemed to fear God and although Balaam actually heard the voice of God, yet he valued the higher position more than Gods voice. Moab was a Baal worshiping nation. I believe when Israel partially rejected the teachings of the apostles and of Christ, they are the ones who Baal depicts. In this case Moab could not overcome Moses and Israel through Baal, so he reached for the prophet that was known to have the word of the one true God.
This is the power of the serpent: knowing Israel could not be defeated by his nation, he attempted to hire a prophet and promote a prophet to honor in Moab in order to get it done. Facts are God refused to curse his people at the sacrifices of those in Moab by Balaam. Instead through prophesy and through Balaam’s prophesying, God blessed them. This is the place the scriptures speak of Michael the archangel contending with the devil about the body of Moses. Balaam would offer seven altars of sacrifice and God would plainly and emphatically say to them NO!
He would not curse the body of Moses, which is Israel. Again the king of Moab would act as though God had said nothing, and offer another sacrifice of seven altars in another place. Again and again God said no and altogether blessed Israel instead. This was a definite dispute. Balaam was the devil working for the King of Moab who worshiped Baal. The spirit of these folks was the spirit of evil. Disputing about the body of Moses which is Israel. Literal Israel is not the body of Christ, the church is the body of Christ and the spiritual Israel.
Jude 9
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Cain: the changing of the true sacrifice
Korah: the usurping authority over the true authority sent from God
Balaam: the selling of ones talents for the promotion of an idol worshiping nation and the cursing of a righteous one

This is how the faith was corrupted and this is how we earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints.
1. We fight for the sacrifice which is accepted of God through the apostles’ doctrine.
2. We surrender ourselves to the doctrines and teachings of the apostles and oppose all other teaching which have corrupted it.
3. We fight against the compromise of churches which have been affected by the sly cunning devises of people
Such as Balaam who taught Balak the king of Moab, to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel.
A. The stumbling block was mixing the worship of God with that of idol worshipers (Going back to the law is the same as worshiping idols.)

1 Cor 10:19-21
What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

Devils being used in this instance is speaking of idols. You cannot eat a literal bread and claim a spiritual understanding by being part of the true church. The church has the spiritual understanding of what bread and wine is. What the priesthood stands for, what the temple stands for. You can’t have both.
Taking a piece of bread and drinking wine for communion does not make you part of the body of Christ. By one spirit are we all baptized into one body. Such eating gives no one right to call Jesus their Lord. The only ones who can call him Lord are those who have received the Holy Ghost promise which is in the scriptures.
1 Cor 12:1-3
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

It is spiritual wickedness to change the Holy Ghost back to a drink and tell folks some spiritual thing happened to them when they took a literal drink. It is spiritual wickedness to profess to be in a clergy consisting of Pope, Cardinals and unmarried priests. A ministry that cannot not be found in the apostles’ doctrine.
Those who claim the Holy Ghost in any other manner other than is prescribed by scripture cannot call Jesus Lord. This is a work of the serpent nature. The nature who does not want the cross. The nature that will lie to escape doing the will of God.
